i heart jeopardy! especially the college and teen tournaments b/c then i just feel extra smart! last week i was watching the college tournament and one of the questions went something like this: which 5'3" author was the basis of two movies in 2006 and 2007? one of the college students answered (after furiously buzzing in) "who is frodo baggins?" did i mention the category was "authors"?!?! i do believe i almost fell off my chair laughing. poor guy! i'm sure as soon as the words left his mouth he was mortified! i just had to share b/c it was too funny to keep to myself.
good news: he did go on to get one of the wildcard spots so i'm sure he'll redeem himself.
